Die Idee eines Porsche-Gel\u00e4ndewagens existierte bereits seit den f\u00fcnfziger Jahren und wurde immer wieder diskutiert bis der Vorstand im Jahre 1998 die Realisierung final beschloss. Der Porsche Cayenne wurde zum gr\u00f6\u00dften Verkaufserfolg in der Unternehmensgeschichte. Nach kaum mehr als 10 Jahren wurde Cayenne Nummer 500.000 in Leipzig produziert. \u201eBestseller Story\u201c zeigt bisher unver\u00f6ffentlichte Aufnahmen aus dem Designprozess und wird durch eines der seltenen Interviews von Dr. Wolfgang Porsche bereichert. <\/p>\n

For more than a decade, the Porsche Cayenne has established itself extremely successfully in the SUV market segment. The book “Bestseller Story” tells the story of the first Porsche in which a family also found a comfortable place. The idea of a Porsche all-terrain vehicle had existed since the 1950s and was discussed again and again until the Executive Board finally decided to implement it in 1998. The Porsche Cayenne became the greatest sales success in the company’s history. After hardly more than 10 years, the Cayenne number 500,000 was produced in Leipzig. “Bestseller Story” shows previously unpublished photographs from the design process and is enriched by one of Dr. Wolfgang Porsche’s rare interviews. <\/p>\n
