Seit seiner Premiere im Jahr 1964 gilt der Grand Prix de l’Âge d’Or als das älteste historische Motorsport-Meeting Frankreichs. Die Jubiläumsausgabe würdigte diese Geschichte mit acht abwechslungsreichen Starterfeldern, die das automobile Spektrum von den 1950er-Jahren bis 1981 abdeckten. Auf dem anspruchsvollen Kurs inmitten der burgundischen Hügel kämpften Fahrzeuge aus der goldenen Ära des Motorsports um Platzierungen – darunter klassische GTs, Langstrecken-Prototypen, historische Formelrennwagen und Tourenwagen.

Ein besonderes Highlight bot der Auftritt der Historic Grand Prix Car Association (HGPCA), die mit ihren Formel-1-Fahrzeugen aus der Zeit vor 1960 echtes Grand-Prix-Feeling auf die Strecke brachte. Die Läufe am Samstag und Sonntag zeigten eindrucksvoll, dass diese alten Monoposti nichts von ihrer Faszination eingebüßt haben – ganz im Gegenteil: Der Sound, die Dynamik und die Nähe zur Technik sorgten für Gänsehautmomente auf den Tribünen.
