Die Retro Classics 2022 war wieder ein voller Erfolg für die Messe-Veranstalter, für die Aussteller und für die vielen Besucher und die viele Fachbesucher. Ein voller Erfolg war auch der Stand des Porsche Museums in der Halle 1. Dort stand die Motorsport-Geschichte in Form von fünf Porsche 956/962 im Vordergrund. Vor 40 Jahren startete der erste Porsche 956-001 in Weissach zu seinen ersten Test-Runden. Zum Jubiläum präsentiert Porsche den Sport-Prototyp 956/962 aus der Zeit von 1982 bis 1985. Dabei stehen auf dem Messestand Le Mans-Sieger wie die Rothmans-Porsche und auch der aktuell komplett restaurierte Porsche 962 in der Schwarz-Gelb-Roten Lackierung des Sponsors Shell mit dem legendären PDK-Getriebe.
Wie immer in Stuttgart waren bei der Retro Classics in jeder Halle diverse Porsche anzutreffen. Im freien Autohandel sowie auch bei den meisten Händler wurden insgesamt fast von jedem mittlerweile historischen Modell aus der Zuffenhausener Sportwagenschmiede aus der vergangenen wie auch der jüngeren Porsche-Geschichte Autos angeboten. Dabei war die PS-Zahl fast so groß wie die Preisspanne. Ausgehend vom Porsche 924 mit 125PS, über fast alle Baureihen des 911ers, tollen Porsche 928 und zwei bärenstarken 962 die zum Verkauf angeboten wurden mit jeweils ca. 800 PS, gab es alles auf der Messe zu sehen oder/und zu kaufen. Wer auf der Retro-Classic keinen Porsche für sich gefunden hat, muss nun wieder ein Jahr warten auf die nächste Retro-Classics 2023. Aber hier in Stuttgart wartet man gerne, wie auch der kleine Junge der sich einen der Porsche 956 ganz genau angeschaut hat und nur darauf wartet bald einmal selber im Rennwagen zu sitzen. Schön war es in Stuttgart und es mit dem Gruppe C Jubiläum wird es dieses Jahr noch schöner mit Porsche. Im Zuge des Jubiläums wird Porsche die gezeigten Prototypen noch bei der ein oder anderen Veranstaltung präsentieren.

Group (Retro) Classics

Retro Classics 2022 was once again a complete success for the trade fair organizers, for the exhibitors and for the many visitors and the many expert visitors. The Porsche Museum’s stand in Hall 1 was also a complete success, where the focus was on motorsport history in the form of five Porsche 956/962s. 40 years ago, the first Porsche 956-001 started its first test laps in Weissach. To mark the anniversary, Porsche is presenting the 956/962 sports prototype from the period 1982 to 1985, with Le Mans winners such as the Rothmans Porsche and also the currently fully restored Porsche 962 in the black-yellow-red livery of sponsor Shell with the legendary PDK transmission on the stand.
As always in Stuttgart, various Porsches could be found in every hall at Retro Classics. In the independent car trade as well as at most dealers, cars were offered from almost every now historic model from the Zuffenhausen sports car forge from the past as well as the more recent Porsche history. The number of horsepower was almost as large as the price range. Starting with the Porsche 924 with 125 hp, over almost all series of the 911, great Porsche 928 and two very strong 962 which were offered for sale with about 800 hp each, there was everything to see or/and to buy at the fair. Those who did not find a Porsche for themselves at the Retro-Classic will now have to wait another year for the next Retro-Classics in 2023. But here in Stuttgart, people like to wait, just like the little boy who took a close look at one of the Porsche 956s and is just waiting to sit in a racing car himself soon. It was nice in Stuttgart and with the Group C anniversary this year it will be even nicer with Porsche. In the course of the anniversary, Porsche will present the prototypes shown at one or the other event.
