50 Jahre LE Mans Motorbuch – Edition Porsche Museum

Das Porsche Archiv im Porsche Museum gilt als eine wahre Fundgrube für Porsche Interessierte die eine Publikation oder einen Artikel über ein Thema zu Porsche schreiben oder veröffentlichen wollen. Unzählige Bilder schlummern noch im Archiv und manchmal erweckt das ein oder andere Bild das Licht der Öffentlichkeit. 

Gleich eine ganze Sammlung an bisher unveröffentlichten Bildern ist nun in einem Buch zum 50. Jubiläum des ersten Le Mans Gesamtsieges, 1970 zusammen getragen worden. Der Fotograf und damalige Porsche Mitarbeiter in der Presse-Abteilung, Klaus Reichert hat das Porsche Team 1970 mit seiner Kamera begleitet und dabei sind einzigartige Bilder entstanden, die den ersten Gesamtsieg in einem für sich ganz speziellen Licht zeigen. Das Buch zeigt die Aufnahmen so wie sie fotografiert wurden. In einem zarten Duplex-Ton gedruckt, wird jedes Bild in Schwarz/Weiss abgebildet. So glorreich der erste Sieg für Porsche, so wertvoll sind diese Abbildungen von Klaus Reichert. 

14 Tage lang hat der Fotograf die Familien Porsche und Piech sowie das Team begleitet. Nicht nur die Rennwagen sind fotografiert wurden, auch die Empfänge der Familie Porsche in einem nahe der Rennstrecke gelegen Schloss wurden dokumentiert. Auszüge aus Dokumenten, Hintergrundinformationen, Einblicke in die minutiöse Planung und die Strategie runden den Bildband ab. Wer einmal hinter die Kulissen des für Porsche, historisch wertvollen Gesamtsieges schauen möchte, der braucht dieses Buch. 

Der Sieg 1970 war ein lange gewünschter Erfolg. Das Buch „24 Hours of Le Mans“ in der Edition Porsche Museum, herausgegeben im Motorbuch Verlag ein lange verschollene Goldgrube.
